Carrying On A Legacy
The second generation and current owner of St. Augustine Marina, Jimmy Beach. Jimmy took over St. Augustine Marina from his father-in law, Lloyd Small, a World War 2 veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, who settled in St. Augustine after the war.
Mr. Small originally purchased a business in the historic downtown area of St. Augustine off of Riberia Street before purchasing the the St. Augustine Marina location in 1954 After Mr. Small retired, Jimmy carried on his legacy and his son, Brian, plans to do the same when Jimmy chooses to retire.
Brian Beach is the third generation and owner of St. Augustine Marina and has expanded upon his grandfather’s legacy through the creation of the St. Augustine Marina Archery Department.
Brian is working on raising the next (potential) owner of St. Augustine Marina when he’s not at the store and is the one to talk to about anything and everything related to bow hunting, bow fishing, and archery in the shop.

We are CLOSED on Sunday and most federal holidays. Our service department hours are shared with our store hours.

If you are looking to have a specific Bow Center service or Marine Service Dept. repair / maintenance, we highly recommend calling ahead to check on availability and to schedule an appointment for more complex services.
★Landmarks & Location Info
St. Augustine Marina shares a parking lot with Beaches and the Vilano Beach Pier. You may see signage from the Historic Coastal Byway A1A.
We are pedestrian accessible for patrons of the Holiday Inn – Vilano Beach and less then a mile from the Publix Shopping Center and Beach Access Points.
Vilano Beach is considered the original historic downtown district of St. Augustine, just across the new Historic Coastal Byway bridge that connects the island from San Marco in the Historic Downtown district.

St. Augustine Marina will OPEN on Labor Day September 2, 2024!
We observe most federal holidays . St. Augustine Marina will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day.
★Parking, Amenities & Accessibility
We offer both free and time-limited parking for the convenience of our patrons. Parking is located at the front and back of the store.
★Front parking is shared with the Vilano Beach Pier and Beaches and may be subject to crowds or traffic during events or seasonally.
★Overflow parking is located in the back of the store in our service lots. Check with technicians for open spaces.
St. Augustine Marina Offers The Following Amenities & Acessibility Options to Our Patrons:
- Wheelchair accessible in both the front and Service Department into Offshore Room entrances.
- Convenient location at the front of the Vilano Beach Pier.
- Drive up concierge service for Service Department customers – For outboard repair / service, no apppointment is necessary, just bring your trailer around the back to our technicians.
- We offer bottled water, sodas, and a small selection of snacks onsite for your convenience.
- Air Conditioning – Feel free to come in and cool off!
- St. Augustine Marina is originally a veteran owned location.
- Clean single unit and handicap accessible restrooms.
- Wide open layout for easy navigation.
- St. Augutine Marina does not sell live bait. Frozen bait available

We also partner with local banks to offer competitive financing options and honor Yamaha financing for outboard purchases.
