aIf you have lived in St. Augustine for more than a decade or have had family who settled in the area ‘way back when’, you might remember your father having one of these simple, affordable, fiberglass skiffs – maybe even your grandfather had a ‘flatbottom’ boat, which is one of Griff Craft’s signatures.
Based out of Starke, Florida, Griffis and Sons Fiberglass has been manufacturing these fiberglass boats the old fashioned way for nearly half a century and the business is still owned and operated by the family that originally founded it.
You won’t find much about Griffis & Sons Fiberglass or Griff Craft boats online or if you aren’t ‘in the know’.
We have partnered with Griffis & Sons Fiberglass since our founder, Mr. Small, discovered them and purchased one of his own back in the 50’s. Griff Craft has a dedicated owner and fan base, with the majority of our clicks and calls coming from the interest that these unique, affordable, little fishing boats generate – and we are totally okay with that!
We carry brand new models and pre-owned models, rigged and ready or available to be customized at an affordable price point, making them a great starter fishing boat for nearshore anglers.
